A moment to show gratitude
Referrals are massive, undervalued, important and should continue. These people spoke for me and I'm forever grateful to them for doing it.
I have worked in various companies in my career and have lost my job suddenly on a couple of occasions. During those times, I was in need of referrals. These people went beyond their ways, spoke highly of me to their bosses and HRs and allowed me an opportunity. I did justice to them on a few places, let them down on a few, but they never complained. I cannot thank them enough! Also, Thanks to the others who referred me, at times directly to the final interview and I messed up.
I urge everyone of you to always be on the lookout to refer people. 9 out of 10 times, it helps both the parties.
Here I am referring only to the gratitude towards people who have helped me with jobs. My gratitude definitely goes to the wonderful friends who shared their journies with me, my parents, my wife, members of the family, the opportunities I have had, people I have met at work, good health, celebrations and much more.
It's World Gratitude Day and I am absolutely thankful to all that I have been blessed with!
